Dove Hunting in Argentina – The Ultimate High-Volume Experience

Welcome to Santa Rosa Lodge, the ultimate destination for dove shooting in Argentina. Our all-year-round activity offers the best high-volume dove shooting experience in the central region of the country.

Argentina is a vast and diverse country, providing a great variety of scenarios that make for an unforgettable hunting experience. Our lodge is located in Gualeguay, just 2 1/2 hours away from Buenos Aires International Airport, and offers hunters the perfect combination of personal treatment, comfort, and security.

At Santa Rosa Lodge, we pride ourselves on providing high-class hunting that takes place around the lodge. Our six dove fields are no further than 15 minutes drive, and offer non-stop action from sunrise to sunset, with more doves than you can possibly shoot at.

Our Eared Dove is considered a plague in Argentina, and our hunters can expect to shoot from 40-80 boxes of shells per day. You will experience fast-paced shooting found only in Argentina, perfect for beginners or avid wing-shooting experts. An average hunter will shoot 1000-2000 shells per day!

The Santa Rosa Lodge staff are passionate about hospitality and personal service, making sure that our guests have an unforgettable experience. Hunters will dine on five-star Argentine cuisine and have the opportunity to sample fine Argentine wine. This is truly the hunt experience of a lifetime.

Our typical itinerary is designed to ensure that you get the most out of your trip:

Day 1: Half day of dove shooting. Most flights arrive early in the morning to Buenos Aires, Argentina. You will be received by the outfitter ground transfer. Then you have a 2 ½ hour ride to the Estancia. Over there you will enjoy lunch and a short siesta. After that a 25 minutes ride will take you to the DOVE FIELD where the action begins. It is normal to shoot from 5 to 7 hours and return to the Estancia for a cocktail, snacks, and a three-course dinner.

Days 2,3: Full days of dove shooting. Wake-up call is at 7:00 a.m., breakfast is served at 7:30 and shooting departure at 8:30. High volume dove shooting begins around 9:00 a.m. and continues until lunch. After the morning shoot, guests return for cocktails, snacks, and a three-course lunch or a typical Argentine "asado" (BBQ), and then a siesta.

Day 4: Half (to three-quarter) day of dove shooting. Same morning itinerary as days 2-3 except that we return a little later from the morning shoot to the estancia for lunch. After a three-course lunch, pack your luggage and we're off to Buenos Aires International airport.

Optional: You can add an extra day. Since some flights depart late at night, you may arrange with your host to shoot in the afternoon. Remember we are only 2 ½ hours from the airport!

The South of Entre Rios is a premier duck hunting spot in Argentina and the world, thanks to its mild climate, vast crop lands dotted with duck ponds, and minimal local hunting pressure. You will be hunting over decoys on easily accessible blinds, which is a rare opportunity for such a high-quality hunting experience.

The Santa Rosa Lodge, located in Gualeguay, offers hunters the ultimate dove hunting experience. The lodge has eight bedrooms in-suite, allowing up to 12 people to stay at the same time. Hunters can expect to shoot an average of 1,000-2,000 shells per day, making this the perfect hunting experience for both beginners and experts alike.

In addition to the great hunting services, you will also enjoy some of the best Argentine cuisine and wines. The Santa Rosa Lodge staff prides itself on hospitality and personal service, making this hunting experience a trip of a lifetime.

The Mix Bag Package offers three different types of hunting on the same day, including Ducks, Doves, and Perdiz. You will have the option to choose which hunting experience you want to do in the morning and afternoon, with lunch and a siesta in between.

Book a group of six, and you'll have exclusive use of the facilities. Non-hunters accompanying the shooting party will also be accommodated for 50% of the program cost.

The cost includes all meals, double occupancy lodging, ground transportation, gun rental, hunting licenses, and permits in Argentina, as well as airport transportation to the lodge. Shells, gratuities, gun entrance in Argentina, and airfare are not included in the package cost.

A deposit is required to confirm a reservation for the program, which is non-refundable unless the client finds a replacement. The final payment is due 60 days before departure.

Located in Gualeguay just 2 1/2 hours away from Buenos Aires International Airport Santa Rosa Lodge offers hunters the ultimate dove hunting experience. The group will stay at the sophisticated and relaxing Lodge.

Besides the great hunting service we provide, you will also enjoy of the best argentine cuisine and wines!! The lodge have 8 bedroom in suite. Which 4 of them are singles and 4 doubles allowing us to hold up to 12 people at the same time!

Our main goal it's to offer a high class hunting, where our clients no drive long way to find great hunting spot. All the hunting happens around the lodge. Our 6 dove field are no further than 15 minutes drive and our fishing spots no more than 30 minutes away.

Typical Itinerary

After the morning shoot, guests return for cocktails, snacks, and a three course lunch or a typical Argentinean "asado" (BBQ), and then a siesta.

Day 3-4: Wake-up call is at 06:00 am, breakfast is served 06:30 and take off to the port, around 20 min ride, and catch a boat ride for a full fishing day.

Day 5: Wake-up call is at 7:00 a.m., breakfast is served at 7:30 and shooting departure at 8:30. High volume dove shooting begins around 9:00 a.m. and continues until lunch. After the morning shoot, guests return for cocktails, snacks, and a three course lunch. After that take off around 03:00 PM to the airport.

Optional: You can add an extra days .Since some flights depart late at night, you may arrange with your host to shoot in the afternoon. Remember We are only 2 ½ hours from the airport!
